- Anthrax
- SYMPTOMS may include redish-brown elevation of the skin that grow larger,
- gets more red and blisters, fever, headache, muscle ache, swelling of near
- lymph nodes, nausea and vomiting. With the less common form that may affect
- the lungs there may be breathing difficulty, bluish color and congestion.
- CAUSES. It is an infectious disease of horses, cattle, sheep, goats and
- mules and sometimes (rarely) transmitted to humans through contact with an
- affected animal or their byproducts.
- TREATMENT. Your doctor may prescribe antibiotics and other medication.
